About RTA

Launched in 2014 and led by creative partners Daron HollowellBrent Nichols and Dylan Marder, Ring The Alarm is a music-focused production and culture company that develops artist-driven content for clients of all kinds.

Daron brings over a decade of experience as an entrepreneur, creative, and artist to RTA. After fronting the seminal hardcore band Four Hundred Years, Daron founded Black Iris Music in 2004, and in 2008, White Iris Records, a vinyl singles label which launched artists including Best Coast and FIDLAR. White Iris is now part of the Ring The Alarm record label.

Dylan got his start managing the Duke Ellington Orchestra in NY, touring with the big band and handling their catalog. He has ten years experience working in the commercial music space with roles ranging from producer to creative director at companies including Elias Arts and New Math Music. He has been part of the Ring The Alarm team since 2014.

Brent’s decade in the industry as the award-winning Creative Director behind Squeak E. Clean and Elias Arts, brings to RTA rich creative experience as well as a huge network of artist collaborators. He has worked with artists including Karen O, Kanye West, M.I.A, and Santigold, to name a few.

Eddie is considered the industry’s preeminent sound designer and mixer. Throughout his career, he has received honors from the most prestigious awards shows – including two Emmy Awards for his work on the Foo Fighters HBO docu-series Sonic Highways. Eddie’s work in advertising is highly lauded as well, with recognitions from London International, the Cannes Grand Prix, and the Clio Awards.
